Dreams.

I took a few days off of running because I had so much school work to do. That was a HUGE mistake. I can't believe that only two days made such a big difference in the difficulty of my run. I've learned that I really need to stay with it, unless I want to continuously repeat the same routine over and over again.

I was looking through some inspirational quotes today. One that struck me was, "To live is the rarest thing of all. Most people just exist." It made me think of all of the things that I've wanted to do and how I decided that I don't want to just exist, I really want to live. I want to run, and hopefully do a marathon. I want to see the Great Wall of China. I want to parasail and go in a hot air balloon. I want to learn to speak Italian, and I want to live in Italy, even if for just a short period of time.

Yesterday I went to see the new Karate Kid with mom and dad. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I loved how it portrayed the idea that all things are possible and if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything you want. Watching the movie made me feel incredibly out of shape, but gave me more motivation to keep working at my goals.

Tomorrow I continue my run, hopefully 13 minutes walking, 7 minutes running. Ah, but we will see! Today is my 24th day being smoke free!
